AlleFriezen is a website that presents data from Frisian municipal archives, the “Streekarchivariaat Noord-Oost Friesland” (the regional archives of north eastern Friesland), the “Historisch Centrum Leeuwarden” (Leeuwarden Historical Centre), and “Tresoar” (Frisian Historical Centre).

Original handwritten certificates belonging to public records of the Registry Offices since 1811 can be viewed and downloaded. These certificates are signed by official record keepers, witnesses, and by the persons involved. For example, in the case of marriage records, the signatures of the bride and groom, the parents, and sometimes the grandparents are present.

If events have been given an "aktenummer" (deed or record number) in the archive books, the number is written in the margin next to the event. In the sources I have indicated these with an "A" followed by the record number. Where there is no record number I have used "B" followed by the page number. Facing pages both have the same page number in the archive books.
