Narrative
Pieter Hamstra was a school teacher in Huins, Friesland. There is a story, that Pieter (as principal) at one time chased a boy though fields and ditches, because the boy was disobedient and had run away. Pieter died from pneumonia at the age of 33. It has been said that he caught a cold after attending a speed skating event, and from this cold he got pneumonia.
